    Finally got this little fellow on the picture. he was pretty close. Looking forward to hear critiques and comments!

    Canon 30d with canon 300mm 2.8 with kenko 1,4 converter.

    f8, 1/320, iso 200

    hi thijs. i like the bird's pose and placement in the frame. the light looks fantastic here. i dont like the twig intersecting the bird's tail. i might evict it if it's not against your ethics. nice job with the techs!

    Good looking image. Concur on removing the intersecting limb, it would be stronger without it. Might bump the brightness a tad, or do a curves adjustment to get a bit more "pop." Great pose, nice feather detail a sweet looking image.

    Hi - Like the pose, agree with the comment on the twig -- looks just a tad dark on my screen, might set a black and white point and see what difference it makes - just needs a little additional POP.

    You did well getting one so open !! Agree with above comments and would take the one branch out ! These little guys are the most difficult and frustrating !!!

    Thanks for the comments! I'm going to lighten it up a bit in photoshop! You al mean the twig by the tail? I can't photoshop it away, and actually i don't want it. I already removed some twigs and that's against my ethics.
