    D300s Sigma lens
    500mm
    750mm (in 35mm film)

    Hi Myer,
    For me the top landmass takes away from the overall appeal of the crashing wave and spray. It also appears a touch soft in some of the wave area....not sure if it is due to a missed focus.....but you may want to check there. I do think you can get away with a pano crop.....eliminating the distant shore....making this stronger for me compositionally. Perhaps going back and doing a bit of tweaking will help take this up a notch.

    Thanks Roman I could not decide whether to keep the shoreline in or not I will try it without and do some tweaks

    That is what I was going to suggest in this pano. Might try long shutter speeds to next time.

    Hi Myer, Agree with Roman's suggestion to crop out the shoreline. The repost is stronger due to that. The spray off the wave makes the image...

    I agree with the pano suggestion but would take more off the bottom, less off the top (and fill in there where needed). Also, there's
    a bit of a blue cast which, if corrected selectively in the foam, will bring out the waves a little more dramatically. Good eye on this one. :cool:
