Default Before Surfers Found the North Shore

Long before the first long board took to the waves, the north shore provided spectacular views of the big waves. This image was taken on the North Shore of Oahu and it modified to show the time before man found the joys of surfing the greatest beaches in the world. I've been there, but didn't try it! I will enjoy the view from the beach when the Boomers come ashore. ;)

Modifications in CS4 included; Poster Edge, Dry Brush, B&W w/toning, Old Photo overlay.

    Enjoy!

Mark, I like the color toning and the effect. It may need a slight CCW rotation. The framing looks good. Nice image for the theme.

Mark, I love the composition with the tree anchoring the left side and surving toward the beach. The color toning works really well here also.

Beautiful color toning and old treatment, Mark. It looks very nice. :) Agree with Denise that it could use a little rotation.
