    Great Egret, Ardea alba, with lunch. Two fish speared, another ready-to-go. University of Puerto Rico's Botanical Gardens. He ate them all........greedy guy or, maybe, just very lucky.

    Canon 30D, Canon 100 - 400mm, ISO 200, f/5.6 at 1/1000sec.,handheld.

    That is one ambitious Egret, in breeding colors too. Wish the head angle were tilted toward you versus away.

    He is pretty good at what he is doing. I agree on the head angle and it needs another round of sharpening.

    As per the above, you needed to move to your left or have the bird turn its head back towards you. Good job with the EXP. The focus seems to be on the speared fish rather than on the bird's eye.
