    Notice the technique of the Hula Owl. The body shakes like crazy, but the head never moves...... This little beauty was the consummate model yesterday in the rain. She was posing for Al, Fabs, Oz and myself for hours. Canon 1D MK IV, ISO 1000, f/5.6, 1/200 sec, EF500mm f/5.6 IS USM, +1.4TC, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash. Comments Welcome......

    Hi Richard We lucked out with the rain having good light !!! Worked out just fine !!

    Excellent pose and love the straight in look ... intense !! Well exposed and sharp ! Might one to get a tiny print form this one and paste on the hood ornaments ukulele :)

    Hi Richard, Interesting that this was captured with the head and feet sharp and the rest blurred. Makes for a unique image with even lighting and a muted backround...

    you just love the hula girls!!:D one of the coolest BO photos i have seen. it is amazing how still they can keep their head. nice job!!
