    Sorry I am a bit late in the game, I got this when I was photographing Avocets, landed in the right spot and I was ready for her, sometimes non-exhotic birds can look good too :)



    5D MKII + 500 f/4 @ f/5.6 1/1000 sec ISO 400. sw: DPP

    ps - I absolutely love the BG. Light brown at top, then into some green and bottom darker brown, just perfect. Not sameness boring color splotch. Just so real, variety of natural colors.

    Really nice all around! Love the BG. I really like the position of the feet as they give you an idea about where he is in relation to the ground.
