    Hi William

Would like seeing a little more of the lower bird and less of the oof birds? in the bg I like the birds directly looking at each other, good exposure and all sharp !! Would try getting more white detail in PS, the info is there !!!

Thanks Alfred. They are indeed OOF birds, a bunch of roosting cattle egrets. I wish there was more of the lower bird as well. Actually, just focusing on the flyer. Certainly could burn some details into the whites. Funny thing is that on the monitor, (and computer) I do my processing with there is more detail visible in the whites. Not so . on this one here connected to the net, and I see your point. regards~Bill

Hi Bill - do agree with AL the OOF white birds in the BG are a little distracting - like the interaction between the pair and would also have liked to see more of the bottom bird.
    Keep em coming :)

Hi Bill I have been working hard on my whites to get some texture, one thing not to overlook is the red channel. Arash had a post a little further down with some great info. White birds are always a challenge and shooting in rookeries tops it all !!!

.. years ago first two times I went to the Alligator Farm rookery ... did not have a single keeper !!!!

Hi Bill, Agree with Al and Lance's comments. More bottom bird and less backround distraction. Good exposure with even lighting...

Great capture Bill. Love the interaction and eye contact between the birds.
    Congrats
