    Love these little guys !! From this afternoon with Oz and gang, rain let up enough so we could get out and not get totally soaked !

    Hi Oz I lucked out with that one, had just switched from the 7D and Fabs called out shaking !! ... btw as we were leaving just after you .. the sun started to break through .. bet you the light got nice and they even mated :)

    So Envious :) - You guys are just so fortunate - we count ourselves lucky to sight a OWL out here - to be able to get this close to photograph them - just amazing.

    Going to have to move to florida ;)

    That is a nice catch. Love it when all the birds do that.
    Still need to take a trip to Cape Coral so I could put a check mark to the this for my Owl list.

    Greetings. Pretty different color rendition between your shot and Oscar's (a matter of taste in WB?)... Love the feathers...

    Lance will post one in F&F ... might give you an idea of how close you can get the the bird is comfortable .. iPhone range !!! :D

    Michael I had mine set for Auto for this one, we did full around with different settings for the WB.

    Good job on this Al! Different type of pose than we normally see. Even lighting with a nicely muted backround...
