    Default Goldfinch on Branch

This little fella was the dominant of the bunch. He stuck out because of his black cap. He often chased the others away when looking for food. Taken in a backyard setup. Overcast skies, mid-morning. A small amount of cloning on either end of the branch.

Lovely bird and perch with the new leaves. The BG is good too but it would have been nice to have a better head angle.

Nice background, composition, and the head angle is fine with me. There seemed to be some problems with the yellows, some areas don't have as much detail as I would expect. Checked the histogram; numerous blown red channel pixels. Probably could be fixed in whatever RAW converter you use. (I use ACR). Good job overall. regards~Bill
