    This is from about a week ago. Ours are usually Double-crested Cormorants, but I question that ID for this one. What do you think (perhaps an immature one)? The picture is cropped almost 50% and sharpened a bit in Lightroom -- once again, no NR applied. How does it look?

    Very interesting bird, Wendell. I like the water color and the ripples. Your exposure looks good, the eye is sharp, but I do see a bit of noise in the BG.

    Hi Wendell - good ha and eye contact - exposure looks good,as noted some noise in the BG - I would crop a little from the top, brings more attention to the eye.

    Hi Wendell Might have gone some under for that bird, would like seeing a bit more detail in the whites !! Tough sun angle for having detail on the tail section !!!
