    Default Willows

It's been an interesting week. Almost by accident at first, I limited myself to one camera (an IR-converted Canon Rebel XT) and one lens (Canon 50mm f/1.8 - the $99 Nifty Fifty) for the entire week. I went out every day at lunch and walked the familiar paths of a nearby parkway looking at familiar scenes through new eyes and hoping to find ways of turning what had become ordinary things into extra-ordinary IR compositions and images.

This is one of my favorites from the week. I think the final touch in post-processing with Nik Color Efex Pro's "Glamour Glow" filter added just the right finishing touch.

Sounds like a fun way to challenge yourself, Ed. Everything works for me here. Very interesting effects.
I have heard people talk of converting older cameras to IR-I think I will check into doing this!

Ed, I love it and I love the fact that you took on a challenge. For me personally I would like the center tree Infared also. Beautiful effect at the bottom:)
