    Hey Ken,
    As a moderator you probably do not need a critique on this bird. But for the fun of it and others that might want a critique on this picture, here goes!
    Try and get the bird to fly quartering into you for better head angle and comp. It looks like a better beamer was out of the question, so to get rid of the shadows on this bird - consider a noon hour shot over the white sands of Libya to better illuminate the underside of bird :D.) The picture has a little bkgrn noise.

    Not being the best photographer, my quess is that neither ISO 800 or 1/4000 was needed on this shot, unless you just ran a couple of hundred yards prior to squeezing the shutter.

    All with the best intentions (humor) implied.
