Another Night Heron

Here is another picture of a Night Heron taken at Venice Rookery last week. Once again the background is a little busy, but I thought the action looked pretty good. Comments and suggestions are always appreciated.

The focus seems to be at the wing. f/5.6 would have been better.

I have not been there for a few weeks, last time I was there, got them in flight with sticks busy building the nest.

Harsh light and very busy setting has created less than ideal conditions for your photograph. Extra sharpening to the face would be good. I like the nest building behaviour captured. Are there two birds here?? I see a pair of legs beneath the main subject's wing that does not seem to belong to it....:o
