    Default Chipmunk Surprise

My original post was lost in the even that shouldn't happen :)

    Camera Maker: Canon
    Camera Model: 7D
    Focal Length: 300mm
    Aperture: f/4.5
    Exposure Time: 1/500th
    ISO equiv: 1000
    Manual, Handheld

This is the repost shot after initial critique, I cropped it a bit further to the right as well as removed the majority of a very distracting bit of wood.

    Thanks for the constructive criticism!

Hi - nice to see him back :)

Lots to like here - Tack sharp - Like the reflection in the eye - complimentary background.
The only issue is the OOF wood in the foreground and whilst you have minimized it - it is still a little distracting.
Still - like this a lot.
    Good show :)

Glad to see the little guy back !!! Had commented but disappeared

The oof foreground is the only issue here, even minimizing still looks strange, probably best to leave just a little more !! btw it would be a mayor undertaking but you could rebuild the tail and do way with the oof wood ... great PS project Sometimes I go into them just for the learning part, don't do much manipulations with my images but always nice to know !!

    Thank you sir!

It does still draw the eye in a strange way, I do agree. I'm going to be on a plane most of the day tomorrow I might just use that time to see if I can do just that and rebuild him, better, stronger, faster :)

Ok Al I rose to your challenge and reconstructed the tail. Was a whole lot easier with CS5 than it was with CS4! Interesting that I look at this file on my side and its no where near as washed out..I'll have to fix the colour it seems.
