Spent weekend camping at Peace River in West Central Fla. This guy and a Red shoulder hawk were the only birds around.

Good detail and eye contact. wing position is good. Looks like there is a blue cast on the bird. Interested to see what others think.

    Oscar,

Greetings. How did you process this? The sky is unusually flat, no drop off at all in the corners (Indistinquishable from a fill layer at 130, 139, 193 ). The wing colors are counter-intuitive the wing in the shadow is warmer while the more lit one (RHS) is cooler in tone. Puzzling.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Hi Oz Not sure how the image got to that point but all it needs is some red, that is it !! Just to to the image>adjust>color balance then move the top slider to the red and will see the image improve dramatically. Simple ! .... btw would desaturate the blue just a tad !!

It will take some time to be able to identify color casts, that is why Lance was questioning the blue, make the image "more blue" and you have a bigger mess !! Would be a good idea altering color balance to an image for helping figure out problems with other !!!

Also something else happened to the wing, spill over color there. Do like the exposure and wing position !!!
