    Default Langur drinking

I was reviewing my old shots when I noticed this shot. I was waiting for a tiger near a waterhole. It was more than two hours when a Langur monkey came to drink water. I had parked the jeep behind a tree. The water hole was downhill. I got a natural frame on three sides.

    Canon EOS 10D, Canon EF 300mm F4 L IS USM lens. ISO 100, f4, 1/180 sec.

I really like the exposure and the monkey's reflection. I might be tempted to crop this into a portrait format to reduce the distraction of the OOF tree on the right.

Going tighter would help to eliminate the OOF tree but the clipping of the hand is problematic. I realize that in the truck, it may have been difficult not to clip the hand.

    Hello Sabyasachi,
I like the reflection in the water and enjoy photos of animals going about their business but this one almost feels like spying on your subject. I agree with the comments above about the hand and tighter crop.

p.s. Did the tiger ever show up?
