    Hi Bob,

I like the light on the oyster catcher but do not like the position in the frame. Would prefer more room behind the bird and also a little more at the bottom. Did you crop or is this the full frame?

Great light, colors, the flight pose is perfect, great plumage detail.
Agree about bit more space around the bird.

Good wings-up flight pose, and perfect exposure for this tough subject - although perhaps a very tiny bit more contrast would make the image pop more (but be careful not to clip the lightest whites). Yes, a bit more room could be had behind, but not much more.

Really love the already mentioned wings up position and light and great exposure control.

Also - the one thing I think is a bit unique for the shots of these birds in flight is the space around the feet. you can clearly see the feet in their tucked together pose but not against the tail feathers...

Not sure I can support the need for more room around the bird, but if you look at my photos you see that I like the subject to be as big as possible.

Gorgeous clarity in the flight of the bird. I wouldn't hesitate to crop it to a square at all.
