    I like it Bill !!!! Good all around for me If anything a tiny room back of the bird I like how you left a little room below the toes and gave more room up front !!!! Keeper !!!!

    Originally I was going to suggest to go brighter but check in PS and you got the black/white point on the nose !!!

    I think it works well. The color of the BG certainly compliments the gull. A little catchlight in the eye would have been nice but the only way to have gotten it would have been to use a touch of fill flash.

    Very nice, Bill. As suggested, a little room at the bottom would have been great. As it is, you could add a slight touch of catch light to the eye in PS.
    Just blow the eye, select the brush too with white as your color, reduce the opacity to about 12%, then paint a curved line on the upper part of the eye. That usually works!

    Nice gull in what looks like really soft light. I see these guys on posts so often that I think the post is more natural for them than any perch could be :D
