    Default Brown Hare

    Hi

I only started photographing hares last year but was a little late starting so missed any 'boxing' action which I'm hoping to capture this year. They are amazing animals but definately slightly derranged!!! Here is a shot of one in a full speed run.

    Taken with 1Dmk2N and 500mm lens at ISO 400 F6.3 at 1/2000s.

    Cheers

Very nice action you catured Rich and I like the timing with the forward movement of the back legs. Good composition , eye contact and detail. Thanks for sharing !

Don't need to say they are derranged !!!!! All you need is to look at those eyes !!!!!!

Would crop a bit bottom slight top for proportion Would give more of a sense of speed !!!! Can't wait for the boxing !!!!

Very nice action.. Great colors and very sharp. A slight crop off the bottom of the frame would help....

Not the easiest subject to photograph! Very nicely done but I agree with cropping some off the bottom.... I lreally ike the sense of motion in this photograph.

Beautiful sharp action shot with such a narrow DOF to work with.
I find a 400mm gives a narrow enough DOF so this shot @ 500mm is something special.
