    A pair by a reservoir in Rajasthan in Feb. I didn't clone out the stuff in the water at top left - my attempts at doing so made the picture look worse. I also realize the head angle isn't ideal, but I don't think it's too bad. Any other comment welcome.

    Camera Model: DMC-ZS3 , held up to the 30X eyepiece of a Kowa 773 spotting scope

    Hi Richard,Interesting that you put the camera lens in front of a spotting scope and they came out pretty sharp. You already mentioned HA but I feel whats hurting the image most is the harsh lighting. By the length of the shadows I can see this was taken when the sun was still very high. Also in this images case I might have concentrated more on one or the other birds rather than both.

    Hi Richard - agree with Dave - the harsh light is not ideal - HA doesnt bother me too much - IMHO though once you start to have a couple of things that aren't quite right in the shot they tend to have a cumulative effect on each other and you tend to notice the other things more.
    Dont get me wrong - doing well here for digioscoped - for sure!!
