    As Grace stated and posted last week, the Oyster Catchers were fighting over real estate. As of this morning they were still at it. Might seem a bit flat as the clouds and mist rolled in about 45 min. after sunrise.
    Image was cropped a bit for comp.

    Hey Joe,
    Very cool action shot! This is what I've been looking for the last time out.....same fog! Very nice control of that BG too!

    Joe:

    Interesting interaction, techs look good. Might consider a small crop from top and right. The interaction of the birds really draws our attention towards the center of the image, so I think a bit of a crop will work well. Personal taste obviously.

    Cheers

    With the birds looking in opposite directions I agree a more centered comp would work well. Good interaction, and I love all the footwork. Image looks to have a yellowish colour cast?

    Terrific moment and good timing on your part. The foggy look is fine with me, it's even warm :)

    Really a fantastic capture Joe, filled with action. Nice and sharp, colorful, with nice mood too. Upon consideration, I think that the suggested crop would only make it better.

    Joe, I like the slight golden cast and the interaction is fantastic. I agree a tiny bit off the top might bring your eyes to the birds quicker. Nicely done. :)

    Really nice capture of the action and details. I'd like to suggest a square crop because the birds eye placement would create a diagonal line from the two....

    Joe;

    Excellent! Love the interaction between the two birds and the fog and and warmness of the light.
