Taken indoors with natural light against a white BG. Applied on of my textures and a slight vignette.

Anita, I think this is lovely. I took a peak at your web-site and fell in love w/ your flower images. The overlay is beautiful and is a soft compliment to the Hyacinth. In a perfect world the flower bloom at the top left would be there.:)

Denise: I see what you mean about that one flower. I fear none of the flowers I grow are perfect--I'm not a careful enough gardener. Thanks for visitng my blog!! And, thanks for your encouragement.

This is simply lovely, Anita! The blue and purple colors are so beautiful, and the texture complements the flowers perfectly. I do wish that the stem was thinner and thus less dominating, but it's not like you can do anything about that. :)

Thanks! I loved the colors! Re the stem: if I were good at cloning, I might thin it, but I'm not that good. I could also try taking a picture from an angle that minimizes the stem. Thanks for mentioning this!

Anita, your flowers are simply beautiful and this one is no exception. I like the textured BG and great masking to keep the flowers clean.

Anita, this is the flower that I crave all winter long - you have the colour just perfect and the stem is as it should be IMO - it is in proportion - simply beautiful :)
