Song Sparrows are among the first spring migrants to show up here. They've been back for a couple of weeks now, and their song fills the morning air with beautiful melodies. This one was photographed in habitat and attracted to this natural perch with audio (speakers are hanging just below the frame). I tried various crops, but with the tail swinging left this one worked best for me, more than perfectly centered.

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @375mm, 1/200s., f/6.3, ISO 800, +0.7 EC, natural light, handheld, about 80% FF.
