    Default Landing Ibis

This guy is not native or at least common in my area. A pair had been recently sighted in the wetlands, I met one of them when I was photgraphing Avocets.

    5D MKII 500 f/4 f/5 1/1600sec ISO 400. sw: DPP.

    Hope you like it.

Very nice work, surrounding colours compliment the Ibis really well here!

This is a pretty young guy, not totally red yet and some white left in the face. We got one even younger this weekend, he couldn't stay still :)

Lovely landing pose and warm light, he's beginning to get some iridescence in the wings.
    Good job!

Great shot, this ibis looks nothing like the White Ibis with the red bills and red legs I'm seeing down here in Florida. Hard to imagine them even being related
