    Nikon D700 with Sigma 300-800mm @ 800mm
    1/125 ss @ F32 ISO 400
    I opened up 1.3 stops more than the EV for a front lit subject in the same light.
    I wanted to create a back-lit image of this Spoonbill with blurred wings, sharp head and lots of water in the air.

    No PS other than levels and USM.

    James, This is fantastic! It looks like firework sparklers going off behind the bird. Beautiful colors and comp.

    Very good use of back light, the splash looks golden due to the light angle.
