male with nesting material (vine).
Although I don't say this too often, I was very happy with how this one turned out.
comments and critique welcomed, regards~Bill
Bill, Head angle off but I don't care. This is a delicate high key look at a Cormorant that I have not seen. I like the careful framing and the nesting material adds so much interest to this. I love it. This is the type of image that I would consider purchasing:)
Very elegant feel to this, Bill. Nice pose and like the curve of the vine. As Denise said, HA is a little off but not bad. I might prefer a little more sharpness in the near wing and a little more pop to the eye. Very nice work.
Appreciate the observations! I agree lightening the eye, or making it more visible is a good idea. Not much I can do with the near wing. I see no problem with the head angle. IMO head angles are important in avian portraits, or the basic bird on a stick stuff, but less important in action shots, and even less in graphic images. regards~Bill
