Bpn is running a bit slow.....so not sure if this will post.....hopefully it speeds up so I can comment on some of the recent work here! It's finally spring like weather the last couple of days here and I bought these for my wife for Easter.....had to put them to good use! I have toned down the reds already....hopefully enough. Played with a few backlit comps and this is one of my favorites.
Canon 1D Mark lll with the 180mm macro at f18 and 1/125 sec. and ISO 800 hand held and 580 EZ flash at 1/32 power.

Very nice, Roman! I like how the pistil shows through and the diagonal line that the petals form heading to opposite corners. The reds look great BTW.

Roman, This would make a nice large print. The composition and the lighting are well thought out. I do think the reds look good.

Great shot. I love the back lighting and the shadow of the pistil. Wonderful colors and light.
I agree with Denise, would make a great large print.

It looks great, Roman! The high points have already been convered and the reds look fine. I'd probably try cloning out the black spot on the right edge

Roman u like it very much, the diagonal capture is good, the glow of the colors .. NB. It's the first time I watch with the monitor calibration.

Roman: I will be the odd one out and say that the pistil shadow distracts me, and I keep thinking of Mickey Mouse ears. Otherwise, lovely.
