Default Piping Plover in Stealth Mode

Finally had an opportunity to get out on the beach and create some piping plover images this past Saturday.

This one thought he'd sneak by my but I saw him :)

DOF is perhaps a bit too skinny (missed the back leg by a hair) but I was trying to make believe I was shooting like they do in Florida :D

This is adorable, Jim. I like how the soft side light brings detail in the plumage.
DOF is of no concern to me here. It looks good to me.
You may want to mask some sharpening off his bill.

DOF is A-OK with me too! Love the hunched walking pose. Techs look great, and good choice of comp - I like the pano format.

Very nicely done and the pose is incredible. Love the colors, the light and the extreme low angle. Congrats.

After a long hard day, I just saw this image and literally laughed out loud, Jim. I love it! Undoubtedly the funniest shorebird image I've ever seen. Great low-angle capture, perfect HA and EXP and BG, and DOF looks fine to me. TFS, you made my day.

Cool pose, angle and BG. I might sharpen the leg on the ground a bit less.

Really like the low angle and the color. Like the raised foot as well.

Great one! Other than said above I like the low angle and perfectly flat and clean beach.
