Really like the intense stare and the prey in the beak. Nice color as well.

Kiran, Fantastic capture. I love the eye contact and the nice BG colors really add to this.

    Kiran:

It makes me smile. It seems like it tastes funny!

Techs are nice. From a pure comp. standpoint, I might trim 1/4 of the open space on top off, but minor issue.

Thank you all for you kind words of Appreciation, I really value them and sure keep me going for more.

@ Steve Bhai and FabJi, I know what you thinking :). but no this was not a bait, This was a chance encounter, I saw the Bird perched on a bush when it made a dive for the mouse. I knew it was on a hunt but did not expect a larger prey like this mouse, usually they feed and grasshoppers and other large insects. I drove closer to actually make a image of the bird on the ground, but luck was on my side as it had hunted a mouse and held it in its talons for some time (this time allowed me to position myself well for the shot from the SUV), it pick it up with its beak and swallowed the mouse whole.

    thanks again..

    Kiran.

Kiran, I don't think any of us were suggesting or implying that this shot was baited!

All we wanted to know was, is there something 'special you have' to know when & where to get that exact moment. Perhaps there is a little lost in my/our comment;) I guess we just envy you getting something like that.:)

Awesome timing. This is such a dramatic action shot for something that's not really moving. Great job.
