Hi,
I am a Internet programmer living in South Florida. Because I can 'telecommute' I spend a lot of time in south and central America trying to learn how to photograph birds. Recently I volunteered to create and maintain Cracids.org, a web site about the American birds of the family Cracidae. 'Cracids' include Guans, Curassow, and Chachalacas, many of which are suffering from deforestation and hunting. The material on the site comes from the Cracid Specialist Group, a group of scientists mostly in Latin America.
I also maintain my site, BirdPhotos.com, which has my photos and those of a few other people.
greetings to everyone,
tom
