    From Anhinga Trail this past Sunday Trying some back lit images with the rising sun and no flash ........ sure wish I had lowered the ISO

    At least at this size, I think it looks great for ISO 1600. I really like the pose and composition. It looks a tad "dark" on this monitor so I'll have to wait to get to school to view it on my "light" monitor. It's always amazing how the birds just hang out and pose down there.

    Hi Lana I posted the wrong image :o too many hours in front of the computer :) One thing I forgot to set that morning was the auto ISO do like it a lot Set it to 3200 since I trust the quality that much !!!!!

    Flash wise I have been noticing some trends in my early morning images Trying to back down from using all the time Not sure if is feasible with these type image? ..... in retrospect and looking back on top of it :D it would have been better going conventional and use as that master would have said "a kiss of flash" :)

    I'm at school on my MacBook and this looks so much better......even the original. Interesting about the flash.....I guess it's somewhat of a learning curve between Nikon and Canon. "Kiss of flash"......now that brought back sweet memories.

    I like it. Especially the way the light comes through the wings.
