Lava Heron image taken at Puerto Egas, Galapagos, with Artie in 2008. I'm debating whether to leave the crop as is, or crop a little tighter on the heron, which would shear off the tips (upper edge) of the lava outcropping the heron is sitting on. All C & C appreciated!

    Mike:

Sharp, well exposed, love the subtle greens in the wings.

I would be inclined to leave the crop as is. I think it helps tell the story here, and don't find it distracting.

    Cheers

Another vote for leaving as is, in fact, I think it would loose impact if you take it away. Very nice image, Mike.

Another vote for leaving as is. Gotta have some lava if you're going to show off a Lava Heron :).
