    Ryan, I like this image. The head reflection is neat. I hope to photograph them when they come out of hibernation. I think cropping from the bottom & removing much of the detritus from the water would improve it. I also find the bright spot at it's RR leg distracting.

    Hi Ryan Agree with Andrew on the crop and reflections Tough to give it enough light for the body with reflecting degree around it !!

    For these I like the extremes, going high to show as much detail as you can or low to nail the head and eliminated the surrounding elements.... might have gone low. As presented would try lightening the head a little more, should be easy. The parts of the body uw might be a little tough since lightening leads to a mushy looking shadow. Looking forward to the next one !!!
