    Default Ocean Sunset Pan



    D3 200f2 + TC 1.7 1/5 sec. at f/25 ISO 100 (new settings for me ;) ) handheld pan, curves for color, topaz detail/sharpening for texture.

    Interesting Theme... I'll have to try more of these.

    Michael, Beautiful colors and the layers really do look like an ocean sunset. Lovely lighting. I am so glad that you tried something new and liked it. These themes really do push us out of our comfort zones.:)

    Beautiful image, Michael. I especially like how the main bands of color are diagonally rising in the image while the pan movement is descending. Very nice!

    I got a charge from this... as the waves approach me the combination of the pan and the water movement creates the diagonals, the lateral lines are from the wet sand where water movement is minimal. And when the wave is retracting you get the opposite diagonal... Great fun :D
