    Here's yet another oystercatcher from last week. Good puddles from the storms made for some bathing activity.

    1/1250, f5.6, iso400
    Canon mk3, 500 f4 + 1.4tc

    I like the light, wing position and angle. I might crop a bit off the bottom and tone down the highlights on the chest a bit.

    Agree. I would crop a bit off the right side of the pic.
    Other than that, nice capture: wings up, sharp pic.

    Great wing pose, beautiful light and very good exposure. I agree with Axel about the cropping.

    I like the comp. on this . Maybe just a slight bit hot but still a very fine image.

    Graxce, Beautiful pose and nice details. I agree w/ toning down the highlights on the chest a little bit. I do like the inclusion of the FG water and would leave the crop as is.

    Hi Grace,
    Super pose. Agree on the chest white but I like the crop as presented....rare for me but while I generally prefer them very tight....this one has a nice diagonal flow. Looks like the OC season has started.....maybe I'll reun into you one morning!
