    Default Blur #2 - Vortex

    Attached Images Attached Images

This image was taken at Ding Darling NWR this week. It is a blur of the brushs along the refuge road. I was interested in the play of light and colors with the sunlight coming through the shrubs. This outing was my first attempt at artistic blurs, using the 1/8 shutter speed specified.

Modifications were very simple. The only adjustments I did were; Vibrance & Saturation and Brightness & Contrast adjustment.

    Shooting Data
Camera Model Name - Canon EOS 5D
    Shooting Date/Time - 4/1/2010 093:40
    Tv (Shutter Speed) - 1/8Sec.
    Av (Aperture Value) – f/32
    Metering Modes - Evaluative metering
    Exposure Compensation - 0
    ISO Speed - 100
    Lens - EF80-200mm f/2.8L
    Focal Length - 85 mm

    Enjoy!

Mark, It does look like a vortex. I like the color and the lines. I think your comp. is good also. Nicely done.:)

Mark, well done. It looks like the eye of a hurricane (hope we don't see any of those any time soon):)

I like this, Mark! Nice vortex - although I find myself wanting a little more room on the right so the entire main circle was included. Another graphically strong image from you!

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

The image is as shot, no cropping. It's interesting what you get when you check what you did. :o :D
