    Default Hunting Pelican

Here is an individual pelican hunting. I got so excited photographing these birds that I got completely burned that day standing in the water following the hunt and I was hurting a lot for the next days. However, I think it was worth the effort. The weather was a bit overcast that day with the sun coming out once in a while. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for looking.

The unusual angular shape is very appealing to me; I like the sharp and bold contrast of the bird juxtaposed with the soft colors of the water/sky. Very nice.

An exciting capture, Vorant. Timing with the bill just into the water is perfect. Good HA. The bird could be sharpened a bit. Also the image has a bluish cast, so you might warm it up just a bit. TFS.
