I would appreciate your comments on this photo. One thing I am questioning is whether including the collie in the barn is distracting or if it adds depth to the picture. I am thinking that it is too distracting. But I didn't want to crop it so close that the horse would get crowded.
I removed two fence wires including the bright yellow electrical hot wire, but thought it would be too strange and perhaps "uncomfortable" having all the wires removed.
it was bitterly cold this day, so we did not stay long so I didn't get many pictures this visit.
(How do you get your pictures to appear above your text?)
LOL,
it was below my text in the preview! lol
the dog will be easy to remove, it was barely visible before I lightened the area with curves. I can go back one step and darken again.
this horse is their breeding stallion, but still very friendly. So friendly that I have a pic of him with his nose on her camera lens! too funny. He was quite taken with her.
Cheryl I know that horse is very large but would suggest moving !!!!
Most photographs are set up in one way or another Would have to place the horse with a favorable position Trying to come up with a clean image as posted will be difficult Normally I try to do as little work in PS as possible and do the work before making the image !!!!
Al, very true! right now I am practicing and learning. When the weather gets better, the owner will be driving the horses and working them. He will work with me more then on posing the horses, and getting them out of their fenced-in areas.
So far my favorite shot is an image of just the head and neck. I hope to improve on that shot too, when the horse is actually working and so having an even more accentuated curve to his neck.
oops, I forgot the info:
