Mangrove swallow

Captured this morning on the Rio Frio river in the Cano Negro National Wildlife refuge in Costa Rica, it was sitting on a branch in the river. My first time using the 500 handheld and on a boat none the less... it wasn't my idea of fun :)

the background is actually the water, pretty cloudy but that didn't stop tons of people from swimming in it

Not to mention that there are lots of caymans and a few crocs in these waters!
Very nice clarity and love the smooth BG. Sharp where it has to be.

Beautiful shot of a beautiful swallow. I like the soft light. Awesome BG. I might crop a bit from the top and right but not much.
