Where did I put it?

Found these two geese probably fluffing feathers, but liked the configuration and the pose of "looking" for something. At the small lake in Centennial Park, Nashville.

iso 100, f5.6, 1/80 full sunlight
some curve adjustment /saturation, crop

(as a note: I know it is small, but I have not figured out how to post verticals otherwise. The dimension limits demand this.)

I like the captured behavior and heads facing in opposite directions. I would have tried a lower angle and the harsh light makes the exposure difficult. The whites are partially overexposed. I would have chosen a higher ISO and stopped down more. Higher shutter speed would have been good, too. As presented, the birds look a bit soft on my monitor.

I agree with Axel's comments. I also think it is to tight in the frame. I would like to see more space around the geese on the left & right.
