The Red-winged Blackbird is a very common bird here in south Florida and we usually don't seek them out to photograph. Here is a male calling out. Taken last year in Wakodahatchee.

I love the eye contact. The position of the wings is good as you got him in that territorial calling position. I would have liked to see a little more sharpnessin the birds right wing patch.
I love to photograph these ordinary birds too. They are very prominent at Wako. I agree it looks oversharpened (if that is what OS means). Can't say I like the leaf perch too much either. Too tight and centered IMO.
