    Default Project Common Bird

The Red-winged Blackbird is a very common bird here in south Florida and we usually don't seek them out to photograph. Here is a male calling out. Taken last year in Wakodahatchee.

    Milt,

I love the eye contact. The position of the wings is good as you got him in that territorial calling position. I would have liked to see a little more sharpnessin the birds right wing patch.

    God bless,

A lovely bird . Seems a wee bit OS on my monitor . I would have preffered a better perch though .

I love to photograph these ordinary birds too. They are very prominent at Wako. I agree it looks oversharpened (if that is what OS means). Can't say I like the leaf perch too much either. Too tight and centered IMO.

Nice timing on the call. I might tone down the reds a bit. A vertical crop option would eliminate much of the leaf.
