    Alred made me do it!!!:D Taken at the Anhinga trail with the Canon Mark3 and the Sigma 300-800mm lens @ 434mm and ISO 1250 at f7.1 and 1/100th of a sec. Fill Flash at minus 1&1/3.

    Nicely composed, but a little tight at the top for me. Nice action and light. Maybe try to tone down the bright spot on the bird....

    I like it! The bird has nice breeding coloration around the eye and I like the way the posture mirrors the angle of the log it is sitting on. It could use a bit more room at the top. There is a hot spot on the side of the breast that you might try to tone down and I find the light reflection to the right of the fish distracting.

    Great looking bird! Nits have been mentioned--but an eye catcher just the same.

    I agree about being a bit tight. However, I also love the action the detail and exposre.
