    Hi Folks

    Need your good eyes and knowledge to check this Dove out for me.

    First one is RAW done in LR2? and very minor in CS4 (Should have used adjustment brush on BG in LR2?)

    Second one is Large Fine JPG saved as TIF done in CS4
    1 pass Curves default "Linear Contrast" 2 passes Smart Sharpen amt 31, radius 0.6 Lens Blur, More accurate

    nice light and feather details, the 2nd one seems to have better feather details, 1st one is good too but looks as if it has too much NR or something on the bird as the textures are a bit smoothed out (btw I am really picky about IQ!!!, should not always listen to me ;)

    You also did well with getting low, the deep shadow of the bird and busy BG somewhat distract and in general full portraits like these are better done if the bird is parallel to camera.

    Well done, big step forward in terms of IQ compared to your previous shots, congrats and keep them coming!!!

    Hi Gus, I think the 2nd image is not quite as contrasty as the first. Good shot of the bird but the busy upper area of the backround is not helping the image.
