Beautiful bird, and sweet BG! I love the perfect pose. You could lighten the iris a wee bit. I am not crazy about the space below the perch (a too thick perch to boot, at least for this bird's relative size). Cropping out about half the thickness of the perch would take care of both these issues in one simple step AND help strenghten the comp too:).

Loved the BG, DOF and the exposure in this one. Nice head turn too. Beautiful soft light. Tad taken off from right side will make it better IMO.

A great shot of this little fellow. Wonderful light, colors and BG. Perfect head angle.

i'm sitting here browser cropping it and i like it as presented. the perch is large, but the beauty of this bird overpowers it for me. nice light and detail in the bird.

Lovely bird and killer BG. My only suggestion is to crop a bit on bottom since that's a big perch for this bird.
