Not a Yellow Legs. Looks more like a Common Snipe, a very nice image of one at that.

Hi Oz - cool bird - wondering if this has a slight blue cast or its just my screen - white feathers look blueish on my screen???
Also the area between the beak and by the legs appears to be a brighter green than the BG or surrounding area's.

Like the pose - good HA and eye contact and nice detail throughout.

Nice shot with the bill open! I wish for a lower angle though! BTW, this is a Wilson's Snipe, used to be called Common Snipe.

Hi Oz That was one neat bird !!! Not much chance getting lower Dan, we are on a boardwalk !!

Lance has a point on the cast, would also lighten the image a bit more .. neat getting one in the open !!!

Nice capture of a cool looking bird. I like the open bill and details in the feathers.

That bright green between the bill and around the legs is weird. What is that? Very nice eye contact!

Nice capture I bet the bright green were areas that were not adjusted

    Hi Oscar!
Very nice-looking snipe - beautiful colours and sharpness. Love the open bill!

The green stuff is probably Duckweed, which is all over much of the water in Wakodahatchee.
