Hi Ken Neat poses for the birds and stopping down got you some good dof, wish they had a little separation.

I think the light was reflecting on the birds and they have hot areas and lots of reflections on the leg... those you can easily take out !!!

With birds moving as these I like a more rectangular image with room for the birds to move into !!

like the mood and hunting pose here, and you got two!!! Red channel is blown and they both look a bit soft to me, maybe too much JPEG compression. TFS

    Thanks Al and Arash,
This was the original before cropping out the Willet. I tried toning it down and reducing the reflection on the leg of the front Snowy. I was focusing on the two and maybe should have included the left side so there was more room for them to move in. I could have cloned the Willet out......just learning about PS and not sure how to do most things or how much I should fool with the pics.

Hi Ken Arash is correct on the red channels, go back to the original and in PS look for Image>saturation>select the red channel and reduce saturation (just a bit) Will be able to see how the hot areas recover !! Sensors tend to blow the red channel on a regular basis !!

    Good call Arash !!! :)

    Hi, Ken
I really like the second post. It will look great with corrections noted by others.
Looks like the egrets are think about the willet as a quick snack.
