    Scott, Not sure what happened during processing-there seems to be some artifacts around the Stork. Nice pose and cute face w/ nice details. It looks like you need to use a softer brush when you are selecting, but I can't be sure.

    Scott,

    Fine portrait that can be enhanced with some processing tweaks. In the repost I did:

    1) Levels adjustment and expanded histogram so whites and blacks covered dynamic range - biggest impact in highlights.
    2) Curves adjustment to lighten overall image (pull left and up at midpoint on curve to do this).
    3) Another curves adjustment to darken shadows some (up down and right on curve in the lower 1/4 tones to do this).
    4) Sharpen image.

    You have some noise in the BG that would need to be dealt with using noise reduction or selection on BG and darkening it.
