Amazing flight image Arash !! Being able to track the bird with all that magnification is impressive ... I sure like it !!! Razor sharp and love the pose !!! I think the high shutter speed really helps for these guys !!

About all I would try to do is get some texture in the whites at the base of the neck, rather than multiply layers etc just take some from further back and clone in !! Just a little path !! Big Congrats on this one !!!

What an amazing shot. If I didn't know the bird, I'd think that with the downstroke wings and upturned bill, you had this upside down. Terrific flight capture; well done!

When my first eye contact cane upon it, my thought was that it was upside down.....:D All aspects of it are good, the only thing I might do with it is move it slightly off center towards the right side.

    Arash,

Greetings. Great aerodynamic shot! These are fairly fast movers, too... good job!

Did you get this at Baylands?

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Superb shot, I cannot really see anything wrong at all. If I were to be super critical I would maybe give it a bit more space to fly into but that is minor - very well done!

Awesome Arash - sharp as a tack and love that pose with the curved back and wings fully down
    Big Congrats :)

What else can I said that hasn't been said so far. Simply great. I would frame it and hang it my friend. IMHO this has got to be one of your best flight shots.

Thanks for good points Al, I recovered the highlights, BTW no clone was necessary, RAW had all the highlights, just got lost when I did levels!!! I was going high SS to freeze the trail of water drops coming off the feet, didn't get it in this one but will post more shots that have the trail.

    Thanks a bunch

Thanks guys for nice comments. Center comp is because bird is slightly flying away (passed the parallel-to-camera point) but looking back at the camera. I will also try conventional left comp to see how it looks. Thanks again for nice comments :)
