    Default Graceful geese...

Taken in end afternoon light. I like how the geese look graceful, almost in a swan like pose. I find it impregnates respect towards the animal...

Taken with my Pentax K-7 and Sigma 500/4.5 at f6.3, 1/400sec and ISO 400, Manually exposed to the right using fill-in flash with extender.
PP done in LR2: Crop/frame, white/blk point adjustment to bring exposure back down a bit and keep lots of DR. Sharpening applied in LR.

    Thank you for looking :-)

Hi Stephane Good looking image, if anything would like a little more room around the birds. Do like the eye contact and fine shadow detail !!

Tech settings are solid, having a low enough shutter speed to have enough reach and at the same time keeping them sharp !!! btw would try to get rid of the one stick through the birds beak, all others are fine as presented !!! .. was wondering about the white patch on neck being so different in brightness between the two !! Fine image !!!

Nice pair of birds. Looks like a good balace of exposure. I can see some detail in both blacks and whites. Concur with the suggestion of clonning away the one twig.

Thanks a lot, here's a revised version with removed twig and not so tight crop....

    Thank you ;-) Stephane
