    A sure sign of spring, the Robins are hunting worms in the lawn!

    EC + 0.3
    430EX with better beamer at 1/8 manual
    Tripod

    Cloned out some twigs in the lower left corner, otherwise just usual processing with ACR & CS4.

    Joel....... I like this image...I like the tilt of the head and the bg compliments the bird nicely! I would crop alot off the bottom and just a bit off the top! Nice shot!

    Hi Joel - lots to like here - the look back pose, tilted head and BG colours are all very nice.
    Flash work also looks good.
    I might crop a little from the bottom to minimize the OOF rock perch.

    Agree on the crop suggestion !! Can only add would remove the second catchlight from the eye !!!

    Agree with above, beautiful picture. It looks like the light is from the left instead of being from over your shoulder which was probably unavoidable.

    My favorite bird, love the pose. Nice eye and HA. Agree with bottom crop, minimize perch.

    agreed! tighter crop is much nicer, minimizing the large perch.
